Job Title: Quality Engineer PPAP & APQP

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in the Automotive / Manufacturing Industry. The candidate should have robust knowledge of PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, PFD, MSA, SPC and IATF 16949 requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, review and maintain PPAP documentation as per customer requirements.
• Prepare and update APQP, Process Flow Diagram (PFD), PFMEA and Control Plan.
• Prepare and submit PSW (Part Submission Warrant) and other PPAP documents.
• Conduct and coordinate MSA / Gauge R&R; studies.
• Monitor SPC and Process Capability (Cp, Cpk) for critical characteristics.
• Review dimensional inspection reports and ensure compliance with customer drawings.
• Coordinate material, performance and functional testing.
• Ensure compliance with Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).
• Analyze quality issues using Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare 8D and CAPA reports for customer complaints and internal quality issues.




• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Tool Room and Supplier Quality teams.
• Conduct Process, Product and Internal Quality Audits.
• Maintain quality records and documentation as per IATF 16949 requirements.
• Ensure effective implementation of Control Plan and PFMEA on the shop floor.
• Support continuous improvement activities to reduce rejection, rework and customer complaints.

PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, DFMEA, Process Flow Diagram, PFD, Control Plan, MSA, Gauge R&R;, SPC, Cp/Cpk, PSW, CSR, 8D, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, IATF 16949, GD&T;, Drawing Reading, Automotive Quality, Supplier Quality and Customer Complaint Handling.

Qualification:

Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Automobile, Production or Manufacturing Engineering.

Experience:

2–5 years of experience in Automotive / Sheet Metal / Press Shop / Fabrication / Welding / Manufacturing Industry.
