Cosmologix Solutions is seeking to hire a Senior Data Engineer for our global client project.

Role & responsibilities

The Data Migration Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and supporting the migration of Master Data from JD Edwards (JDE) to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), with a solid focus on Customer Master, Vendor Master, and Item Master data. A critical part of the role involves overseeing the accurate transfer of Product Information Management (PIM) data across all relevant Data Entities. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Product Management, Sales, Procurement, and IT, to ensure that all data is transformed, validated, and successfully migrated into D365 environments, including but not limited to Data Migration (DM), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and the Production Environment.

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for a candidate with strong experience in:

- Leading the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)



of master data from JDE to D365, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Managing and maintaining detailed migration plans and data mapping documents for Customer, Vendor, and Item Master data.
- Ensuring the successful migration of all relevant PIM data entities, including product attributes, categories, and relationships.
- Recommending and implementing improvements in data migration processes, tooling, and governance.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, data accuracy and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Engaging in the activities of the migration and setting up of all Master, Configuration and Transactional Data from JDE to D365
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
