JOB DESCRIPTION: Consultant (HRIS- I Trent)
Role Logistics Work Location: Electronic City, Bangalore (In-Office) Shift Timings: 3:00 PM 12:00 AM IST (UK Shift) Department: HRIS / IT Support
This is a contractual role initially for a duration of 8 to 10 months. Extension or conversion to a permanent, full-time payroll (on-roll) position is highly possible based on individual performance and business requirements.
The post holder will provide first-line support for all colleagues across core HR and scheduling systems. Duties include data entry, maintaining system data, configuring systems, providing guidance and training to system users, conducting system/data investigations, reporting, and preparing data for payroll.
The ideal candidate will proactively monitor the quality of system data, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and assist system specialists with project work.
Key Responsibilities
- Data & Payroll Integrity: Perform accurate data entry across systems, ensuring data required for payroll, HR, and operational purposes is accurate and available within stated deadlines. Rectify missing information like employee numbers, position numbers, and occupancy codes in a timely manner to prevent payroll errors.
- System Support & Triage: Provide responses to queries relating to the processes and functionality of HR systems. Prioritize and triage queries and requests to ensure team SLAs are consistently met.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve system or data errors, or escalate them to higher tiers where appropriate. Create user accounts and assist with password reset requests.
- Configuration & Training: Perform system configuration and user training for HR systems. Act as a champion for system processes, supporting customer understanding of standard operating procedures.
- Data Audits: Assist with data cleansing and audit activities as directed by other members of the HRIS team.
- Independent Execution: Work independently on assigned tasks, self-assigning queries as appropriate from the queue, while maintaining high levels of efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Undertake ad-hoc tasks, reporting, and project work as directed by the HRIS leadership team.

Qualifications
- Essential: BE / B.Tech or equivalent degree.
Experience
- Essential: 23 years of experience in HRIS application support, preferably iTrent.
- Desirable: Experience working in an IT/support environment within a large, complex organization. Experience with accounting and reporting in a large corporate setup.
Technical & Soft Skills
- Essential: Proven ability to work independently to meet tight deadlines. Exceptional workload prioritization and time-management skills. High-quality, accurate data entry skills. Capability to manage a high-volume, diverse workload.
- Desirable: Prior experience working specifically with HR data structures. Experience supporting and/or creating internal processes. Proven track record of resolving complex system/process queries.
