Role Overview

We seek a Data Business Analyst with advanced skills in SQL, Data Warehousing concepts, ETL processes and Data Mapping.

Highly experienced Integration & Data Solutions professional to design, document, and deliver end-to-end data integrations.

This role involves working directly with business stakeholders, data engineers, and product teams to convert business requirements into practical data solutions. Experience with cloud data platforms is considered beneficial.

The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with experience implementing global projects and programs with a high level of competency in Talent systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in gathering complex requirements, designing integrated solutions, and contributing to the strategic use of Talent data to support business objectives.

Your key responsibilities:

- Work with business stakeholders to collect and define data requirements
- Convert business needs into functional specifications, data models, and process flows - Convert business needs into integration specifications, data models, and process flows
- Conduct in-depth data analysis using advanced SQL queries
- Coordinate with ETL and data engineering teams to verify data pipelines and transformations




- Support Data Warehousing projects
- Create and update data mapping documents and source-to-target (S2T) specifications
- Validate, profile, and check data quality to maintain accuracy
- Define KPIs, build dashboards, and support reporting requirements
- Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Utilize cloud data services (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data ingestion, storage, and processing (nice to have)

Requirements

- 12+ years of experience
- Strong SQL skills for writing complex queries
- Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
- Background in ETL processes and data transformation logic
- Hands-on experience in:
- ETL processes and data transformation
- Data mapping and S2T documentation
- Integration design and documentation (ISD)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills

Skills and attributes for success

- In-depth knowledge of Talent processes, system functionalities, data integration methodologies, and best practices
- Proficiency in data analysis and tools, database query languages (e.g., SQL), and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights




- Excellent documentation and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a agile, fast-paced environment
- Results-oriented, with a focus on achieving project objectives and driving positive outcomes
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work virtually with global teams

To qualify for this role

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional certifications in business analysis or SAP SuccessFactors preferred
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst with a focus on Talent systems, SAP SuccessFactors, and data integration
- As a Senior Business Analyst, 8 to 10 years of industry experience with exposure to Talent management, HR systems, workforce analytics, or people data initiatives.
