Purpose/Objective

Junior Engineer - Maintenance This role must ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently. Responsibilities of the job include breakdown maintenance, implementation of Maintenance schedules, day to day maintenance and improvement activities & maintaining the machine availability as per given target.

Key Responsibilities of Role

1 Hand on electrical work experience in CNC machine and highly automated robotics-controlled machines (Specially in VMC, HMC & Turning) 2 Sound knowledge of Electrical drawing and Troubleshooting, basic operation of HT/LT system, HVAC, compressors etc 3 Sound knowledge of PLC/ CNC and modification in Ladder Diagram. Should have fair understanding of the maintenance KPIs - MTBF, MTTR, UP Time as per set target 4 Understand the importance of Preventive maintenance Plan and its effective adherence. 5 Knowledge of PLCs(Siemens) and various preventive checks of utility equipments. 6 Sound knowledge in Machine Accuracy maintaining, like – Geometrical, ATC Alignment, Pallet Alignment, Orientation Alignment etc Follow up with machine makers & Vendors for various issue , 7 Hand on Experience in electrical maintenance, RLC &PLC; trouble shooting 8 Responsible for TPM. Active participation in Kaizens, 5S and Process improvement. MIS. 9 Awareness of ISO, OHSAS System and Maintenance Management system 10 Basic Understanding of Pneumatics and Hydraulics and its components. 11 Basic Knowledge of Mechanical assembly Drawing ,



Spare parts & its management 12 Basic understanding of plant utilities equipment and its maintenance. Key Stakeholders - Internal: Engineer - Maintenance & Engineering Senior Engineer - Maintenance & Engineering Executive - Maintenance & Engineering Lead - Maintenance & Engineering Production Team Quality Team Key Stakeholders - External: Equipment calibration vendors Machine OEMs Service vendors for specialized tools

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Background: Diploma In Electrical/Electrinics Engineering Desirable Trainings on- Industrial Automation and robotics. Problem solving techniques Work Experience: - Minimum of 3-4 years related experience in CNC/PLC machine maintenance - Hands on experience in maintenance of SPM, PLC & CNC machines. - Hand on experience in conventional machine Maintenance - Hands-on in Preventive Maintenance and Repairing electronics card. - Sound knowledge in machine ladder diagram Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of LOTO, lubrication practices, basic tool handling, and reporting of machine faults. Exposure to explosive area norms and tagging practices.
