Role & responsibilities

Work with category Managers to define cost/delivery/quality improvement project

objectives and manage the projects against plan to ensure commitments are met

Support/lead sourcing projects in tandem with Category Managers to drive improvements

in cost/delivery/quality

Prepare supplier selection recommendations - including RFQ process, supplier evaluation

and communication, and participation in sourcing decisions.

Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and

quality.

Interface with Category Managers and Functional Stakeholders to ensure project tasks are

completed and milestones are met

Drive cost reduction initiatives, supplier pre-award reviews, development milestones, and

approval processes

Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies to meet cost savings targets.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification & Certification (if applicable)

Bachelors Degree (in Engineering or Supply Chain preferred) from top tier University

Valuable academic records, 60 % & above across all academics

10+ years of experience in direct Sourcing in mechanical commodities.

Experience in multi-national, global operations preferred
