Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for creating and executing test cases utilizing automation test tools to ensure validation of products.
- Sound exposure to test planning, test design, test execution, defect reporting & tracking.
- Knowledge of Java and C# programming languages.
- Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements of the project.
- Exposure to mobile automation frameworks is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, information technology, or equivalent education and work experience.
- Responsible for designing and developing automated tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with QA lead (manual) and company QA leadership to champion automated testing as part of the company's overall automation/ QA roadmap.
- Must have robust expertise in using Selenium Web Driver (Java 8) for automated GUI testing.
- Maintain test cases, test results, and test management system.
- Experience using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, and TestLink.
- Perform manual testing, maintain existing scripts, test automation frameworks, and associated test codes to ensure superb code quality.
- Strong leadership, communication, and management skills.
- Prior experience working in Java development is preferred.
- Must have knowledge of Tomcat, MongoDB, MySQL, Java, JavaScript, XML/JSON, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Ability to understand functional/technical specifications and analyze data server logs.

Requirements:

- experience in Java-related technologies such as Struts, Spring/Spring Boot.
- Proficient in Java/Python programming languages.
- Extensive experience in building high-performance systems using the latest frameworks and Java-based platforms in a shared microservices environment.
- Adept in programming Java with experience in ETLs.




- Experience in Java 8 to 11 programming (Java SE 8/11).
- Design test cases using SQL queries, Cube, and Excel VLOOKUPs.
- Experience in the Financial Industry, with experience in Fixed-Income products preferred.
- Involved in the full lifecycle development from requirements gathering to delivery.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of QA Processes and Methodology using contextual testing concepts.
- Understanding of open-source testing tools and different frameworks like Selenium and TestNG is an added advantage.
- Ability to handle client communication independently.
- Experience in unit testing frameworks for Java and Angular (JUnit, Jasmin/Karma).
- A solid understanding and hands-on experience in different types of functional testing.
- Proficient in at least one scripting language with the ability to read/write Java.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology with working experience in an Agile environment strongly desired.
- Skilled in managing staff disciplines, Application Development, .NET, Java, Middleware Technologies, Hybris technologies.
- Solid programming skills and a grasp of OOP concepts, preferably in Java.
- Ability to design and create Java web services in a fast-paced environment collaborating with QA, DevOps, and PMs.
- Efficient in developing components using Java, J2EE technologies.
- Experienced in leading an automation team in an onshore/offshore model.

Requirements:

- Experience in testing web applications using Java Apache and .Net technologies.
- Strong manual testing of web and mobile applications across browsers and platforms.
- Looking for QA automation experience with JavaScript languages, whether in Cypress or Selenium framework.
- Experience in Performance testing with Jmeter would be an added advantage.
- Strong experience in test case reviews and test script reviews.
