The Manager/ Sr. Manager, Quality Modules will serve as the quality engineering team lead supporting the PV module manufacturing operations, ensures the overall quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance of the automated module assembly line by leading end-to-end quality functions. Establish and maintain the factory's complete Quality Management System (QMS) across high-volume automated solar PV module assembly lines. This role leads the plant's QA/QC team, secures global product certifications, vendor accountability, and minimizes cost-of-quality metrics to ensure maximum factory yield and product reliability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

Quality Reliability Assurance

- Review and monitor all levels of production metrics including Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Final Quality Assurance (FQA)Drive continuous improvement in quality for dept and cross departments through mechanism such as SPC (Statistical Process Control), FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), etc.
- Hands on experience in all quality related (Visual, Dimensional and Performance) checks along with equipment and job preparations for testing.
- PDI, OBA all other offline Quality checks to be performed.
- Strictly follow product assurance platforms. Reviewer for disposition and recommendation on materials and products.




- Support Operations team working collaboratively for smooth running of production in quality assurance.
- Works with Reliability Lab and implement as when required to improve overall quality.

Site Quality Management System / ISO and Document Management

- Follow the site QMS standards and maintain proper records as per Certification requirements.

Broad Coordination

- Working with regional field teams to improve and drive quality goals in factory. This expected to be done by championing the quality requirement within the right understanding of business context.

Supplier Quality Management

- Conduct quality checks, COC verifications and reviews and ratings.
- Resolve conflicts in quality performance.

Other

- Team member and able to collaborate effectively with superior and subordinates and with other departments.

Required Qualifications, Competence & Skills :

- Diploma/ Bachelors / Masters in Engineering
- Trained & conversant in quality tools and or systems
- Knowledgeable & Hands on experience in reliability testing methods and approaches.
- Working experience in Solar/ Semiconductor/ Electronics manufacturing industry is advantageous.
- Ability to interface and communicate effectively with cross-functional team as well as external stake holders and also external auditors.

Additional Advantageous Skills:

- Having prior work experience in Quality and/ or Reliability
- Use Office tools efficiently
