We are looking for a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our product development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mechanical design principles and hands-on experience with SolidWorks, including creating 2D drawings and 3D models. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the design, development, and documentation of innovative products.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D CAD models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and annotations.
- Develop mechanical components and assemblies based on design requirements.
- Assist in product development from concept through prototype and production.
- Collaborate with hardware, electronics, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Revise engineering drawings based on feedback and design changes.
- Maintain engineering documentation, CAD files, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Support prototype assembly, testing, and validation activities.
- Ensure designs comply with manufacturing standards and best engineering practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Solid knowledge of 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
- Understanding of mechanical design fundamentals.
- Ability to create engineering drawings with GD&T; basics (preferred).
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as sheet metal, machining, or plastic components is an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 02 years of experience in mechanical design or product development.
- Internship or academic projects involving SolidWorks are welcome.
