As the leader of KGS PV team (equity and credit), your responsibilities would entail:
- Strengthening delivery quality by providing hands-on / real time coaching and training to the KGS PV team on advanced valuation concepts, methodologies, and best practices
- Acting as a subject matter expert to address complex valuation challenges faced by KGS team
- Ensuring that KGS team is responsive, delivering on time and communicating effectively with US PV team, audit teams and end clients, as required
- Identifying needs and driving trainings locally or with the help of the US PV team
- Monitoring workload distribution to ensure optimal utilization of KGS team capacity
- Driving initiatives to instill innovation, efficiency and a results-driven, accountable, and excellence-focused work culture.
- Conducting fair and objective performance management
- Designing and drive growth and integration strategy for KGS PV team in collaboration with the US PV team
- Establishing and maintaining close working relationship with US PV team to drive quality and efficiency at KGS, and practices to appropriately leverage KGS in the US PV team
- Leading/contributing to KGS / US Practice Development initiatives
Preferred candidate profile
The candidate must have 11+ years of working experience in valuation of illiquid equity and/or debt investments and meaningful hands-on experience in managing teams preferably in a Global Capability Center set up
- Advanced finance and accounting, valuation and financial modeling, reporting writing skills
- Valuation of vanilla and complex equity, credit or hybrid instruments.
- Audit assist process and role of valuation teams there in
- education:An advanced degree in Finance and Accounting such as MBA (Finance), CFA, qualified Chartered Accountant
