Role Overview

The Demo Manager is a senior, global role responsible for owning demo infrastructure, global scheduling, demo quality, certification, analytics, and demo-to-revenue conversion. This role is technical, operational, and people-focused, requiring strong leadership, communication, and execution capabilities.

The Demo environment is the platform offering a broad range of available hands-on use cases and video shorts that enhance presales storytelling, shorten sales cycles and support customers to engage with a realistic feel of our solutions.

Responsibilities

1. Own All Demo Environments

- Build, configure, and maintain demo environments for Accelerator, GroundWork, Ultima Storage, Turbo AI, ML/LLM, DB modernization, migration, and all vertical-specific use cases.
- Ensure 99.9% uptime and 24/7 readiness.
- Implement infrastructure automation such as golden images, repeatable workflows, to reduce time to provision, and health checks.
- Maintain version-controlled inventories of clusters, configs, snapshots, and templates.
- Collaborate closely with QA, Engineering, Dev, Services, and PM to onboard all new product releases quickly.
- Maintain standard operating procedures for demo environment reliability.

- Manage Global Demo Scheduling

- Operate a 24/7 global demo desk coordinating India, Turkey, and the US.
- Assign demos based on expertise, certification, vertical knowledge, and availability.
- Maintain SLA-driven responsiveness:



acceptance <30 mins; scheduling <4 hrs.
- Ensure backup coverage for every time slot.
- Manage scheduling workflows via CRM, calendars, and Slack.
- Track demo load distribution, coverage ratio, conflicts, and delays.

- Evaluate and Categorize the Global Demo Team

- Evaluate communication, English fluency, technical depth, customer presence, narrative quality, and use-case mastery.
- Categorize engineers as: Approved to Demo, Needs Training, Internal Only, Do Not Demo.
- Maintain a global competency matrix updated quarterly.
- Work with managers to enforce performance improvement plans.

- Training & Certification Program

- Build multi-week demo training programs for all product lines.
- Develop certifications for Accelerator, GroundWork, Ultima Storage, ML/LLM, DB modernization, Turbo AI, migrations, and vertical demos.
- Develop Demo Playbooks with script flows, narratives, objections, and industry variants.
- Re-certify engineers every 3-6 months to maintain quality standards.

- Conversion Metrics & Revenue Analytics

- Own metrics for demoopportunity, opportunityPOC, POCwin, and win rates by engineer, region, vertical, product, and POD.
- Deliver weekly reports to sales leadership and quarterly conversion improvement plans.
- Use insights to drive playbook improvements and training focus.

- Demo Quality Control

- Review global demo recordings each week and score against rubrics.
- Ensure consistent messaging, value storytelling, accuracy, and time discipline.
- Enforce demo standards; remove demo privileges when needed.
- Maintain a Demo Standards Handbook used globally.




- Work with Product and Marketing to maintain storyline alignment.
- Establish proactive health checks, work with Support to triage incidents and execute RCA with corrective actions.
- Partner with presales engineers to ensure lab relevancy.

- Global Demo Recording Library

- Maintain gold-standard demos, vertical demos, new release demos, objection-handling recordings, and onboarding crash courses.
- Use recordings for certification, onboarding, training, and performance coaching.
- Publish step-by-step user guides for training, best practices and demo narratives that match current releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong Kubernetes, cloud, container, and DevOps knowledge including automation and scripting.
- Understanding of AI/ML workflows, databases, storage, and networking.
- Understanding security hardening requirements for a shared demo lab.
- Experience managing demo operations or sales engineering functions.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and operational leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication, English fluency, and cross-functional coordination.
- Ability to work across global time zones with high attention to detail.
