We are looking for an experienced General Manager - Payroll to lead end-to-end payroll operations for a leading FMCG organization. The role involves managing payroll for a large employee base, ensuring statutory compliance, driving payroll automation, leading audits, and partnering with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to deliver seamless payroll operations.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end payroll operations for corporate, manufacturing plants, sales, and field employees.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing with complete statutory compliance.
- Manage payroll inputs, reimbursements, incentives, bonuses, full & final settlements, and payroll audits.
- Drive payroll automation, process improvements, governance, and HRMS optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and leadership while mentoring the payroll team and managing payroll vendors.

Requirements

- 15+ years of experience in payroll operations within FMCG, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Beverage, or Retail organizations.
- Strong expertise in Indian payroll legislation, statutory compliance, payroll accounting, and labour laws.
- Hands-on experience with SAP HR, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday, or similar payroll systems.
- Robust stakeholder management, leadership, and team management capabilities.
- Excellent analytical skills with expertise in MIS reporting, audits, compliance, and process excellence.
