Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
- Build and maintain batch, event-driven, and real-time data ingestion and processing frameworks.
- Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources.
- Design and implement scalable data models for analytics, reporting, and business intelligence.
- Create and manage workflow orchestration using Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow).
- Develop event-driven architectures leveraging Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and cloud-native services.
- Optimize data transformation and querying performance through BigQuery.
- Ensure data quality, security, governance,



and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve data platform reliability and performance.
- Build solutions handling structured and semi-structured data formats including JSON, Parquet, Avro, and CSV.

RequirementsMust-Have Skills

- 4-8 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong expertise in BigQuery, Cloud Composer (Airflow), Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage.
- Experience with Dataflow and distributed data processing frameworks.
- Strong experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing data models including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Dimensional Modeling.
- Experience building:
- Batch-based data pipelines
- Event-driven data pipelines
- Real-time/streaming data pipelines

- Advanced SQL skills with performance optimization expertise.
- Strong Python programming experience.
- Hands-on PySpark coding experience.
- Experience with DBT or Dataform.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Experience handling structured and semi-structured datasets.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Cloud Run.
- Exposure to modern data architecture patterns.
- Experience in analytics and reporting platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.




- Background from pedigree institutes or reputed organizations preferred.
