VM Administrator – L2 Support
Job Title: VM Administrator – L2 Support
Experience: 4–7 Years
Job Responsibilities
Manage and administer VMware infrastructure environments.
Provide Level 2 support for virtualization and infrastructure-related incidents.
Perform advanced troubleshooting on ESXi hosts, vCenter, clusters, HA/DRS, and storage connectivity.
Manage VM migrations, performance tuning, capacity planning, and patch management.
Support infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and DR activities.
Work closely with storage, network, and backup teams.
Participate in RCA preparation and problem management activities.
Support and manage VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation) environments.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter administration.
Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
Knowledge of HA, DRS, vMotion, SRM, and virtualization best practices.
Understanding of storage technologies (SAN/NAS) and networking concepts.
Experience with Windows/Linux server administration.
Exposure to scripting (Power Shell/Shell) is an advantage.
Positive communication and stakeholder management skills.
