Key Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging History lessons for Classes XI and XII in accordance with the prescribed NCERT syllabus.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessment tools to enhance student learning.
- Conduct regular formative and summative evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student performance.
- Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, and historical research methods among students.
- Organize and supervise co‑curricular activities such as debates, quizzes, history projects, and field trips.
- Participate actively in faculty meetings, professional development programs, and curriculum development initiatives.
- Maintain a disciplined, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and management to address student needs and promote overall academic excellence.

Essential Qualifications

- Master’s degree (M.A.)



in History from a recognized university.
- B. Ed. or an equivalent professional teaching qualification is mandatory.
- Eligibility for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET).
- Proficiency in English and Hindi (both spoken and written) to effectively communicate with students and parents.

Desired Experience

- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary (Class XI–XII) level.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate technology and digital resources into History instruction.
- Experience in mentoring students for competitive exams (e.g., UPSC, State Civil Services) is a plus.
- Track record of publishing research or articles related to History or education is advantageous.
