Our company is a product-based organization that works closely with the Income Tax Department, which is one of our key clients. Our team is stationed at the Income Tax Department's office in Delhi and provides specialized forensic and financial investigation support.
As search operations conducted by the Income tax department, large volumes of digital and financial data are collected. This data may include information from mobile phones, emails, laptops, bank accounts, financial records, and other digital sources.
Once the data is acquired and cloned by the department, our forensic and financial analysis teams examine it in detail. The primary objective is to identify transactions, patterns, or discrepancies that may indicate tax evasion or undisclosed income.
In summary, the role combines forensic financial analysis, taxation expertise, data investigation, and evidence-based reporting to support the Income Tax Department in identifying and addressing tax evasion cases.
RequirementsOur team consists of qualified Chartered Accountants, semi-qualified CAs, and experienced financial analysts who work together to:
• Analyze financial and digital evidence obtained during investigations.
• Identify discrepancies, irregular transactions, and potential instances of tax evasion.




• Correlate findings across multiple data sources such as bank records, accounting data, emails, and other financial documents.
• Document and compile evidence in categorizedd manner.
• Classify findings under the relevant provisions of the Income Tax Act and supporting regulations.
• Prepare analytical reports that assist the Income Tax Department in its assessment and enforcement proceedings.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills Robust hands-on experience with QGIS and its plugins, libraries, and processing tools. Expertise in GIS, Spatial Analysis, and Mapping Technologies. Experience working with Vector and Raster data. Strong knowledge of Geo Server. Experience with PostGIS and PostgreSQL. Knowledge of GeoJSON, Shapefiles, Geo-databases, and other GIS data formats. Experience with Open Layers, Leaflet, and web GIS development. Strong understanding of Spatial Interpolation, Network Analysis, and Geostatistics. Experience in geospatial database design and management. Good understanding of cartographic principles and GIS visualisation. Knowledge of Python scripting for GIS automation. Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Experience with Git or SVN version control systems. Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.
