Job Purpose

The Manager Technology role is responsible for meeting with management teams to discuss how information technology will help the organization achieve its latest goals, and they train end-users on operating software and databases. Interacting with business users and understanding & analyzing their requirements. Design logic, workflows & solutions for implementation.

The Aditya Birla Capital (ABCL) has diverse, industry-leading businesses across multiple verticals, including lending, life insurance, health insurance, insurance booking, mutual funds, housing finance, wealth management, insurance advisory services, retail broking, distribution of third-party products, etc. Rationale for the role lies in the advantage of integrating strategic alliances and fintech partnerships centrally for pan-ABCL to maximize benefit at the most optimum economics

Challenges:
Drive agreement on various common platforms in an environment where all businesses are at different maturity curves and have different business priorities, speeds and needs.
Bring in industry and functional knowledge to enable building a solid IT team and platform.
Getting support from the stakeholders across the business for the success of the initiative Budget sanctions.
Real-time Information sharing across internal teams with tools automation in place

Ensure that all IT platforms have resiliency built in, and are scalable and reliable.
Ensure availability of IT systems through the right BCP/DR, backup strategy, capacity forecasting, etc
Designing & Implementing Robust, Scalable, Long Lasting, Cost-Effective Solutions with increased performance
KRA2Process OptimizationImplementation of best practices, creating COE for all common applications at a central level to bring in the benefit of the economics of scale, cross-learning to all businesses of ABC.
Liaise with various Technology Solution partners for refresh/upgrade of Branch Network/security for a robust, scalable and cost-effective solution.
KRA3Vendor/Partner Relationship ManagementEnsuring that technology adoption in Business is in line with current and emerging market trends. This will ensure the competitive advantage of businesses in the Financial services industry. Besides, ensuring audit and compliance parameters.
