Job Description: Key Responsibilities:

- Design synthetic routes for novel agrochemical leads and intermediates.

- Execute multi-step organic synthesis, reaction optimization, and route scouting.

- Conduct structure–activity relationship (SAR) studies in collaboration with biology teams.

- Purify and characterize compounds using modern analytical techniques (NMR, LC-MS, HPLC, GC, IR).

- Support scale-up trials from lab to pilot plant for promising leads and intermediates.

- Document experimental procedures and maintain detailed laboratory records (ELN).

- Conduct literature and patent searches to identify recent synthetic methodologies.

- Work with interdisciplinary teams (biology, formulation, regulatory, process engineering).

- Ensure compliance with EHS, GLP, and regulatory standards in laboratory operations.
