Position Title: BIM Coordinator

Experience Required: 8+ years, including minimum 3 years on international projects

1. Position Overview

A BIM Coordinator is responsible for managing, coordinating, and integrating digital building models across multiple disciplines (architecture, structure, MEP, infra, etc) to ensure efficient project execution. They will act as a central link between design, engineering, and construction teams, ensuring that all project information is accurate, aligned, and compliant with BIM standards.

The ideal candidate should have proven expertise working in BIM ecosystem for global projects, strong coordination skills, and the ability to lead digital engineering workflows across dispersed teams.

2. Key Responsibilities

Collaboration & Communication

- Act as a bridge between Design Team, consultants & Contractors

- Facilitate smooth collaboration using Common Data Workplace (CDE) platforms like BIM 360 or ACC or ProjectWise.

- Ensure proper information exchange and approvals.

Standards Implementation

- Ensure compliance with: BIM Execution Plan (BEP), Project BIM standards and protocols, Industry standards (ISO 19650, etc.)

- Familiarity with enforcing modelling guidelines and workflows.

BIM Model Management & Quality control

- Maintain and update the federated BIM model.

- Ensure all models follow project standards and are properly aligned.

- Manage file naming,



version control, and model updates.

- Oversee model quality, accuracy, and completeness.

- Check models for accuracy, LOD, Classification & Data.

- Conduct audits to verify consistency and compliance

Model Coordination & Clash Detection

- Coordinate models from multiple disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP).

- Perform clash detection using tools like Navisworks or Solibri.

- Identify and resolve conflicts between systems (e.g., ducts vs beams).

- Track and report clashes and ensure timely resolution.

3. Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s in architecture, civil engineering or related fields.

- 8+ experience in working and handling multiple projects and teams, advanced coordination, client interaction, and BIM strategy.

- Minimum 3 years of experience on international projects (Buildings, metros, rail, Highways, etc.).

- Strong understanding of BIM modelling methodology, Clash detection and Federation exercises.

- Experience with cloud collaboration tools (BIM360, ACC, ProjectWise, etc).

- Familiarity with ISO 19650 Standards. (Naming, Folder structures, Families)

C. Software & Technical Expertise

- Revit, Navisworks

- Basic Exposure on AutoCAD & Civil 3D.

· BIM 360 / ACC/ ProjectWise

Additional (Good to have)

· Dynamo (automation)

· 4D BIM tools (Synchro, Navisworks Timeliner)

· MS Excel (data handling)
