Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Laravel Developer with strong backend development and database management expertise to join us on a short-term contract basis. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling development tasks, ensuring clean coding practices, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions within defined timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Laravel framework.
- Design and manage robust backend architecture and database structures.
- Write clean, secure, and effective code following best practices.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver timely solutions.
- Ensure proper documentation and version control of developed modules.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in PHP and Laravel development.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases.
- Experience with REST APIs, authentication systems, and backend integrations.
- Familiarity with Git/version control systems.
- Understanding of MVC architecture, security best practices, and performance optimization.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a contract-based role.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualification
- Immediate or short notice availability.
- Prior experience working on freelance or contractual projects.
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, etc.).
