Job Description Lagavi is a design-led tableware platform working across various materials with a primary focus on ceramics. We collaborate with manufacturers, studio potters, and production setups to create and curate products for both HoReCa clients and retail.

/n We're looking for an Associate Product Designer to join our product team. You'll work alongside our senior designers, handling production-ready files, mockups, vendor coordination, and sampling follow-through, while progressively taking on independent design work across client custom projects, surface design, and in-house initiatives.
/n What You'll Work On
/n Supporting the senior design team: /n /n Prepare production-ready files for decal printing, laser engraving, and other surface applications
/n Create product drawings, mockups, and 3D models from senior designers' concepts
/n Build moodboards and reference decks for client projects and in-house collections
/n Coordinate with vendors on finishes, decal applications, and detailing
/n Track product development and sample readiness — ensuring timely measurements, photoshoots, documentation, and updates
/n Manage product cataloging and documentation, including specifications and dimensions, and coordinate with graphic and website teams to ensure accurate listings
/n /n Owning independently (with senior guidance, growing over time): /n /n Custom tableware design for HoReCa clients — moodboarding, curation, and product design
/n Decal and surface design for client and in-house projects
/n Smaller in-house product initiatives
/n Material, manufacturing,
and trend research to inform design decisions and content direction
/n /n What We're Looking For
/n /n 0–2 years experience in product / industrial / ceramic and glass / tableware design
/n Strong sense of form, aesthetics, and ergonomics
/n Eye for print and surface design
/n Ability to translate ideas into physical product through clear mockups and drawings
/n Genuine interest in materials and making processes, ceramics, glass, wood, metal
/n Basic understanding of ceramic manufacturing, glazing, and material behaviour
/n Proactive, organized, and comfortable handling both design and execution work, you take pride in things shipping correctly, not just looking good on paper
/n /n Software Skills
/n /n Adobe Illustrator (must)
/n Rhino or any 3D modelling software (must)
/n Photoshop (good to have)
/n Procreate (good to have)
/n Rendering software: Keyshot, Blender, etc (good to have)
/n /n Valuable to Have
/n /n Exposure to tableware, ceramics, or home decor
/n Understanding of ceramic glazes, finishes, and surface treatments
/n Interest in market research, trends, and visual storytelling
