Job Description
Drive Tech Intelligence is looking for an experienced Automotive E&E; Project Engineer to manage and deliver Electrical & Electronics (E&E;) programs for OEM vehicle projects. The role involves end-to-end program management from prototype through Start of Production (SOP), coordinating engineering, validation, and OEM teams to ensure successful delivery within quality, cost, and schedule targets.
The candidate will be responsible for program planning, milestone tracking, risk management, change management, stakeholder coordination, and launch readiness. The role requires working closely with cross-functional teams and OEM stakeholders across Chennai and Tiruvallur.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Automobile, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Master’s degree in Automotive Electronics or a related field is preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in Automotive E&E; Program Management.
- Robust understanding of APQP, PLM, ECR/ECO, and BOM validation processes.
- Experience managing automotive programs from prototype through SOP.
- Strong skills in program planning, risk management, issue resolution, and change management.
- Good understanding of vehicle E&E; system architecture.
- Knowledge of automotive validation, diagnostics, and End-of-Line (EOL) processes.
- Strong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, preferably with Advanced Excel.
- Experience working with OEM programs such as Stellantis,
Mahindra, or equivalent is preferred.
- Willingness to travel and work between Chennai (Thoraipakkam) and Tiruvallur multiple times a week during project SOP stages.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and processes.

Requirements
B.E./B. Tech/M. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent. 0–1 year of experience in C++ development. Strong knowledge of C++ and Object-Oriented Programming. Good understanding of STL, Data Structures, File Handling, and Memory Management. Knowledge of Exception Handling and Debugging. Basic understanding of Binary File Processing and Parsing Techniques. Basic knowledge of Multi-threading. Familiarity with Git and version control. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Interest in Automotive Software and Vehicle Data Analytics is an advantage.
