Role Optometrist

Key Responsibilities

n

n

n
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
n
- Diagnose refractive errors
n
- Prescribe spectacles and contact lenses
n
- Conduct diagnostic tests (Auto Refraction, Keratometry, Tonometry, etc.)
n
- Assist ophthalmologists in clinical procedures when required
n
- Provide pre- and post-operative counseling for patients
n
- Maintain accurate patient records and reports
n
- Guide patients on eye care, lens usage, and hygiene
n

- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills

- Good communication and patient handling ability

- Knowledge of optical instruments and procedures

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Basic computer knowledge

Eligibility Criteria

- D. Optom / B. Sc Optometry / M. Optom
n
- 1–6 years of relevant experience
n
- Freshers with robust internship experience may also apply
n
