Talent Leap is partnering with leading pharmaceutical companies to hire experienced professionals for Business Development & Licensing roles within their Domestic Business teams.

We are looking for commercially driven and strategically oriented professionals who can play a key role in identifying partnership opportunities, evaluating new products, and strengthening the domestic portfolio.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with leadership teams and contribute to portfolio expansion and strategic growth initiatives in the Indian pharmaceutical market.

Designation: Manager/Sr. Manager- Business Development & Licensing

n

Location: Mumbai

Number of Positions: 3

Key Responsibilities:

n

n

Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including in-licensing, co-marketing, co-development, and strategic alliances.

n

Conduct market assessments, commercial feasibility analysis, and due diligence of potential products/partners.

n

Manage & drive end-to-end licensing discussions,



including financial evaluation and contract negotiations.

n

Coordinate cross-functionally with Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams for deal execution.

n

Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international partners.

n

Track competitive landscape and identify gaps in the current product portfolio.

n

Support preparation of business cases, management presentations, and board approvals.

n

Looking for candidates with 4–5+ years of experience in Business Development & Licensing for the Indian markets from top pharma companies only. Candidates should possess strong financial and commercial evaluation capabilities along with excellent negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder handling skills.
