We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with hands-on experience in Railway and National Highway (NH) projects. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, billing, cost control, and contract management. Candidates should be willing to work at project sites in Karnataka and Maharashtra.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications.
- Prepare and verify BOQs, estimates, and rate analysis.
- Execute client billing and subcontractor billing.
- Monitor project quantities, variations, and change orders.
- Verify measurements as per approved drawings and site progress.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and clients.
- Prepare material reconciliation statements and cost reports.
- Track project costs and support budget control.
- Ensure compliance with contract conditions and project specifications.
- Maintain measurement books (MB), billing records, and project documentation.
- Assist in tender estimation and quantity verification.
- Support claim preparation and final account settlement.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 3–10 years of experience in Railway and/or National Highway (NH) projects.
- Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation, billing, and quantity surveying.
- Familiarity with contract documentation and project execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and billing/estimation software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
