Role & responsibilities

- Own the end-to-end functional and technical architecture of Blue Yonder WMS, including system landscape, configuration standards, governance, and integration frameworks.
- Lead the design and configuration of warehouse processes, including receiving, put away, replenishment, inventory management, cycle counting, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
- Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, and Supply Chain stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable and sustainable WMS solutions.
- Configure and manage Blue Yonder WMS business rules, workflows, system parameters, and operational logic to support evolving business needs.
- Oversee the technical orchestration of warehouse processes across inbound, outbound, inventory, replenishment, and reverse logistics operations.
- Design, implement, and support integrations between Blue Yonder WMS and SAP ERP, OMS, TMS, last-mile delivery platforms, and third-party logistics systems.
- Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, go-live activities, and hyper care support for new implementations, enhancements, and rollouts.
- Manage critical WMS incidents through effective technical and functional troubleshooting, while leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action planning.
- Evaluate Blue Yonder upgrades, patches, and recent releases by conducting impact assessments,



regression testing, deployment planning, and release management activities.
- Manage the Blue Yonder vendor relationship, including support escalations, SLA governance, roadmap discussions, and ongoing platform support coordination.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, slotting optimization, labor efficiency, operational throughput, and process standardization.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, ERP, Integration, and Technology functions to ensure seamless business and system performance.

Preferred candidate profile

- 8+ years of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS configuration, solution design, and technical architecture.
- Deep understanding of warehouse operations, including inbound logistics, put away, replenishment, inventory management, cycle counting, picking strategies, dispatch, and return processing.
- Strong expertise in Blue Yonder WMS architecture, MOCA framework, system configuration, and WMS data models.
- Proficiency in SQL, MOCA scripting (TCL/MOCA commands), and WMS administration.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting integrations between WMS, SAP ERP, OMS, TMS, and third-party logistics platforms.
