- Actively contribute to develop the business for 4-stroke Marine
- Service business in India.
- Take ownership of the situation and provide support to customers in solving technical issues.
- Preparation of Service Report and forward it to the concerned.
- Minimizing warranty claim, increase project profitability and Reporting of MIS.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Support as team member to attend breakdown / warranty / trouble shooting / retrofit works on 4-stroke engines SEMT Pielstick, Augsburg- Large bore, Holeby small bore engines.
- Team member of Installation and Commissioning of 4 stroke engines with New Ship and Power Plant installations.
- Handling technical and product related support to customer
- Checking of Scope of work, prepare Estimation, Inputs for preparation of service contracts.
- Prepare and edit spare parts list with correct part number for given scope of work.

• Developing as a good Service engineer and handling of various service jobs as a dedicated team member.
• Handling of various workshop related jobs in workshops.
• Maintain relationships with key customers and service providers.

- • Technical understanding of the product, basics of IC engine and Control
- • Take ownership of the project work and Support customer on technical issue in time.
- • Leadership ability to handle projects, work independently as per instructions given with confidence and patience and at times under stress.
- Ability to meet tight schedules along with field service team coordination, good dedication for the work.
- Positive understanding of project handling, IC engine, Turbocharger.
- Good team player.
Desirable Qualifications:
• Engineering Degree in Marine / Mechanical engineering with 4 to 6
years experience
• Experience in Marine service field various levels (viz, Service
engineer, 3rd Engineer etc.) with OEM or commercial vessels
worldwide.
• Knowledge or working with B&W; 4-stroke Pielstick,
Augsburg engine, Holeby engine is necessary.
• Experience of 2 stroke MC engines with knowledge in Electrical is of
advantage.
• Preference to be given to Engineers who have experience in Operation
& maintenance, trouble shooting of Large Diesel Marine Engines
