About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Patient Assistance Program Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will support patients undergoing cancer and critical care treatments by facilitating their enrollment into Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs), coordinating with hospitals and healthcare professionals, ensuring timely medicine delivery, and providing end-to-end support throughout the patient's treatment journey.

This is an office-based role with no field visits.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate patient enrollment into Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) by verifying eligibility and completing the required documentation.
- Coordinate with patients, caregivers, hospitals, healthcare professionals, and pharmaceutical partners to ensure seamless program execution.
- Guide patients through the enrollment process, explaining program benefits, documentation requirements, and eligibility criteria.
- Coordinate with internal operations and logistics teams to ensure timely medicine dispatch and delivery.
- Monitor patient cases and proactively follow up on pending documentation, approvals, renewals, and treatment continuity.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update CRM/internal systems with complete and timely information.




- Respond to patient and caregiver queries with empathy and professionalism while ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth execution of patient support services.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on patient enrollments, medicine dispatches, and program performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, program guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Healthcare Management, or any other Science-related discipline.
- 14 years of experience in Patient Assistance Programs (PAP), Patient Support Programs (PSP), Healthcare Operations, Hospital Coordination, Patient Coordination, or Healthcare Customer Support.
- Experience in Oncology, Critical Care, or the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry will be an added advantage.
