Role: AI Engineer

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra (Hybrid)

Experience: 4+ years in AI/ML engineering, including production deployment

Role Overview: Build and deploy scalable, innovative AI solutions, including agentic systems, computer vision, and generative AI applications that solve real-world industrial challenges. You will thrive in ambiguity, experimenting with open-source frameworks to create novel architectures for use cases like anti-counterfeit detection, propensity agents, and GenAI proposal assistants.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement agentic AI workflows and multi-agent systems using frameworks like LangChain and CrewAI.
- Develop and optimize computer vision models (YOLO, edge-optimized) for real-time quality inspection on devices like NVIDIA Jetson.
- Build private RAG systems with Meta Llama and other open-source/paid models for document intelligence and automated proposal generation.
- Prototype creative integrations of models with workflows, APIs (WhatsApp, Salesforce), and mobile apps.
- Optimize models for edge deployment, inference speed, and resource efficiency while maintaining ethical guardrails.
- Contribute to team innovation by documenting experiments, proposing new approaches, and mentoring on novel implementations.

Required Skills & Experience





- 4+ years building and shipping production AI systems with prior experience of working with a current age start up is must for this role.
- Expert in Architect event-driven and API-based AI systems, build modular, reusable AI services that scale across plants and business units
- Expert in evaluating and model selection (LLMs, CV models) based on Accuracy, Latency, Cost, Long-term maintainability
- Strong experience in deploying vision models to edge devices, CNNs and vision transformers, Object detection and segmentation, Image/video processing pipelines
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Hugging Face, OpenCV, LangChain.
- Next-gen expertise: agentic AI, RAG/fine-tuning LLMs, edge AI (TensorFlow Lite, ONNX), computer vision.
- Proven ability to innovate through rapid prototyping and experimentation in fast-moving AI domains.
- Ability to showcase production-quality code from innovative AI/agentic applications (e.g., GitHub repos, deployed demos, or open-source contributions).
- Hands-on deployment experience (Docker, Kubernetes basics) and API development.
- Strong understanding of ethical AI, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks.
- Preferred
- Strong public portfolio of agentic AI projects (e.g., multi-agent systems, autonomous workflows, RAG-based apps) with accessible code and live demos.
- Evidence of staying ahead of 2026 trends (autonomous agents, multimodal integration) through personal projects or contributions.
