Role & responsibilities

- Proven leadership experience in managing finance teams.
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Possess sound knowledge of shipping agency accounting, principal accounting, port expenses, and related financial transactions.
- Thorough understanding of GST, Income Tax, TDS, Companies Act, and statutory compliances
- Represent and coordinate matters relating to Income Tax Assessments, Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals), Dispute Resolution Panel (DRP), Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT)
- Coordinate with Statutory Auditors.

Preferred candidate profile

Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred. MBA (Finance) / M.Com may also be considered.

1015 years, Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a Shipping Line / Shipping Agency, NVOCC is mandatory.
