Position: Technical Specialist - Hardware

Position Requirements

Pentair is currently seeking a Technical Specialist for Hardware team in GlobalEngineering Center, Noida in India team. This role is responsible for end-to-endHardware development including Design, Testing & Validation for Pentair Products like Pump, Filter, Automation systems, known for best efficiency and reliability. This individual must be well-versed in the latest technologies in Smart Product and IoT/ Digital innovation and be capable of applying them to develop innovative solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Defining Hardware Architecture for Pentair Products using latest technologies and tools.
- Act as technical coordinator for product design and interaction with cross functional team to define hardware requirement and fitment analysis.
- Technical review for Hardware deliverables for correctness and completeness.
- Perform risk assessment, develop product validation test plan including EMI/EMC requirement as per applicable certification for products level.
- Hands-on experience to mentor & provides technical guidance to team members.
- Publish White Papers and document best practice with value addition toHardware Development Life cycle (HDLC).

Qualifications and Experience

- Master/ bachelors degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, or equivalent Engineering.
- 5+ year of Experience in Hardware design and testing including 3+years of experience in Smart and IOT products for embedded systems.
- Expertise for circuit design for Sensor application, Battery Management system, Amplifiers using Op-Amp, Motor drivers, Power Supply design topology - AC/DC, DC-DC- Buck, boost.




- Hands on experience on Wireless connectivity technology- License/ Unlicensed like WIFI/BT /LORA/Sub GHz/GSM/GPRS/NBIOT.
- Rich Experience in Schematic/Hardware design around all major supplier for microcontrollers and processor STM - ST32xx, TI- MSP430xx, Expressif - ESP32xx, Microchip - PIC16/32xx, NXP -Imax series etc.
- Experience in communication Protocols for I2C, SPI, UART, S232/Rs485, LIN, CAN, USB etc.
- Experience in Circuit simulation using – P-Spice/ TINA Spice/NI-Lab View.
- Experience in Schematic and Layout design using Altium Designer.
- Experience in defining PCB Layout for Analog, digital, highspeed Signal to reduce EMI/EMC interference.
- Experience in designing and building robust & reliable system through Hardware development Life cycle (HDLC) with all documentation.
- Experience in mapping business requirements into specification, designing, cost estimations, preparing test plan and qualification approach.
- Knowledge of SCRUM/Agile process, Scaled Agile Framework (Protected), project planning, tracking, and monitoring and risk management.
