Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and certified Medical Coder to join our growing team in Noida. The ideal candidate should possess a B.Sc. Nursing qualification, hold a recognized Medical Coding Certification, and have a minimum of 1 year of hands-on medical coding experience. The candidate will be responsible for accurately reviewing clinical documentation and assigning appropriate medical codes while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and payer regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze patient medical records and clinical documentation.
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes as per industry standards.
- Ensure coding accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Identify and resolve coding-related discrepancies and documentation gaps.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards as defined by the organization.
- Stay updated on coding guidelines, payer requirements, and healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with QA teams, physicians,
and other stakeholders to improve coding accuracy.
- Participate in audits and corrective action initiatives as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) is mandatory.
- Certified Medical Coder (CPC, CCS, CIC, CCA, or equivalent certification).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in medical coding.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Good understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and disease processes.
- Familiarity with healthcare documentation standards and coding compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
