Role & Responsibilities

- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.
- Continuously monitor vital signs and promptly report changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist pediatricians and intensivists during procedures, resuscitation, and emergency management.
- Operate and monitor PICU equipment including ventilators, HFNC, CPAP/BiPAP, infusion pumps, and multiparameter monitors.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation, medication charts, and patient records.
- Follow strict infection control, medication safety, and patient safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with doctors, nursing teams, parents, and attendants.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant PICU experience required.
- Good knowledge of pediatric critical care, emergency management,



and patient monitoring.
- Experience handling ventilated and critically ill pediatric patients preferred.
- BLS/PALS certification will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Willingness to work rotational/night shifts as required.
