Key Responsibilities:

Backend Development: Design and build scalable backend systems, services, and APIs using Python and Django.

- System Architecture: Own end-to-end system design - microservices, service boundaries, API contracts, and data models - balancing scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

- Data Engineering: Build and maintain data pipelines to ingest and process data from field devices, sensors, and third-party systems.

- Cloud (AWS): Architect and manage infrastructure on AWS across compute, storage, networking, databases, and serverless services.

- AI & Automation: Integrate AI and automation capabilities into products - workflow automation, intelligent data processing, and API-based AI integrations.

- Cybersecurity: Apply security best practices across application and infrastructure layers - secure coding, access control, and data protection.

- DevOps & CI/CD: Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for reliable, repeatable deployments.

- Technical Leadership: Conduct code reviews, write design and architecture documents, mentor other developers,



and work with product and engineering teams to turn requirements into solutions.

Who are we looking for?

Someone who is/has:

5+ years of software development experience, with solid exposure to system design and architecture.

- Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django.

- Practical experience building and deploying applications on AWS.

- Experience designing microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.

- Experience building data pipelines (batch or streaming) and working with SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals for web applications and cloud infrastructure.

- Exposure to AI or automation tooling, or integrating AI-based features into products.

- Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure as code.

- Solid communication skills and the ability to mentor junior engineers.

- Preferred: Prior experience in the energy, renewable energy, or utility sector, or with IoT data ingestion (MQTT, Modbus, or similar protocols).

- An interest in sustainability, renewable energy, and our green future.
