Responsibilities 1. 2D Technical Drawing Production Create precise and detailed 2D technical drawings of eyewear components including front frames, temples, hinges, nose pads, and screws using AutoCAD for all Lenskarts brands. 2. Cross-functional Collaboration — Work closely with design, merchandising, and manufacturing teams to ensure Technical drawings are aligned with Lenskart’s standard fit guidelines. 3. Component Specification Sheets — Develop and maintain detailed spec sheets for each eyewear component, including material callouts, plating/finishing instructions, and assembly references. 4. Factory Communication Support — Provide technical drawing packages to overseas manufacturers and assist in resolving drawing-related queries or misinterpretations from production teams. 5. Quality Cross-referencing — Compare production samples against technical drawings to identify dimensional discrepancies and flag deviations for correction. 6. Drawing Archive Management — Maintain an organized library of all technical drawings, revisions, and related documentation in the company's filing or PLM system. Skills Technical Skills Proficient in AutoCAD for 2D drafting, detailing, and annotation Robust understanding of engineering drawing standards (ISO or ANSI) as applied to consumer product or eyewear components Ability to read and interpret existing technical drawings,



factory blueprints, and component spec sheets. Familiarity with eyewear component manufacturing processes such as metal stamping, acetate cutting, and injection molding — enough to draw manufacturable parts. Basic understanding of material properties (acetate, stainless steel, titanium, TR-90) relevant to eyewear Design & Documentation Skills High accuracy and attention to detail in dimensioning and drafting. Ability to translate physical samples or rough sketches into clean, precise 2D drawings. Skill in producing multi-view drawings (front, side, top, section, and detail views) for complex eyewear parts. Experience maintaining drawing revision logs and version-controlled filing systems. Qualifications Education Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Design/ Product Design, or a related technical discipline. Coursework or training specifically in engineering drawing, drafting standards, or CAD is strongly preferred. Experience 1–2 years of experience producing 2D technical drawings in a product manufacturing environment — eyewear, accessories, or hard goods experience is highly preferred. A drawing portfolio showcasing multi-view technical drawings, spec sheets and dimensioned component layouts is mandatory.
