Job Title: Deputy Manager- Production Planning & Control

Job Summary: We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Production Planning professional to oversee our manufacturing schedules, master data management, and system integrations (SAP/XMI). This role is critical in bridging the gap between supply chain, manufacturing, sales, and finance. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal plant capacity utilization, maintain accurate BOMs and routing data, manage NPI (Current Product Introduction) planning, and drive process improvements across our production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Scheduling

- Master Scheduling: Develop, update, and manage the Rolling Plan, Monthly Production Plan, and Day-Wise Plans based on capacity and raw material (RM) constraints.
- Shift & Floor Management: Define shift patterns, update shift-wise plans, manage color/fixture balancing, and circulate plans to assembly teams. Adjust schedules dynamically to handle unavoidable circumstances.
- Production Actualization: Conduct daily/weekly actualization tracking (Plan vs. Actual), monitor MTD (Month-to-Date) updates, and verify last-day production calibration.
- Forecasting & Capacity: Anticipate future lineups, calculate pre-build/pre-buy requirements to mitigate future capacity or legal constraints, and evaluate forecast variations.

Master Data & Systems Management (SAP / XMI / Windchill)

- BOM & Routing Management: Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) in Windchill. Manage Material Masters (MM01, MM02 for Phantom/In-house), Routing, and Production Versions in SAP.
- System Integration (XMI): Oversee XMI integrations including MM IDocs, BOM IDocs, Material Master, Production Version, and specific master data (Door, Zion, Family, Label Pasting). Conduct XMI Interlocking checks for Finished Goods (FG).
- MRP & Troubleshooting: Execute MRP checks, resolve SAP booking issues, and troubleshoot XMI/SAP reconciliation discrepancies (e.g., DC/SA SAP vs.



XMI).
- System Development: Collaborate on SAP and XMI system development, ECN (Engineering Change Notice) updates, and existing process improvements.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management

- Stock Monitoring: Define, check, and maintain warehouse stock levels for each category. Track inventory value calculations and EPL (Effective Part List) values.
- Consumption Tracking: Tally consumption for each part at the category level, identify major variations, and execute BOM corrections accordingly.
- Liquidation & Approvals: Manage the liquidation of Slow-Moving/Non-Moving (SM/NM) inventory, investigate root causes of supply issues, and secure necessary cross-departmental approvals.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Compliance

- Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the central hub between the Plant team, Channel Partners (CP), Marketing, Sales, Finance, and HR. Share revised plans, sales results, and take continuous feedback.
- NPI Coordination: Lead discussions on New Product Introductions (NPI), establishing tentative dates, assessing challenges, and ensuring system readiness.
- Reporting & Compliance: Hand over ISO documents, support SOX Control Validations, share 3-month plans with Finance, and provide production numbers to HR for salary calculations.
- Regulatory & Quality: Ensure compliance with BEE Energy Label sticker requirements and manage EPL clearances (including Big Parts).

Recommended Qualifications & Skills (You can adjust these based on your specific needs):

- Experience: 5+ years in Production Planning, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SAP (MM/PP modules), Windchill, and XMI systems. Strong grasp of IDocs and Master Data Management.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to balance capacity constraints, calculate inventory values, and perform root-cause analysis on production bottlenecks.
- Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills to interface with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Shop-Floor teams.
