Role & responsibilities
* Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the foundation.
* Plan, coordinate, and ensure the successful execution of all programs and projects.
* Supervise and manage a team of 20+ employees, interns, and volunteers.
* Develop work plans, assign responsibilities, and monitor team performance.
* Conduct regular staff meetings, performance reviews, and provide coaching and guidance.
* Monitor employee attendance, leave records, and coordinate monthly payroll with the accounts team.
* Ensure timely implementation of organizational policies, SOPs, and operational processes.
* Track project progress, budgets, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Coordinate with the Managing Trustee to translate organizational goals into actionable plans.
* Prepare operational, project, and performance reports for senior management and trustees.
* Ensure compliance with statutory, donor, and organizational requirements.
* Coordinate with government departments, CSR partners, donors, and external stakeholders as required.
* Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency.
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
* Manage office administration, resource allocation, procurement, and vendor coordination.
* Represent the foundation in meetings, events,
and official engagements when required.
* Ensure confidentiality, accountability, and adherence to the foundations mission and values.
Preferred candidate profile
* MBA in Operations, Human Resources, Project Management, or General Management (Mandatory).
* 3–5 years of experience in operations, program management, or organizational leadership.
* Minimum 3 years of experience managing teams of 10 or more employees.
* Experience in NGOs, CSR projects, education, healthcare, rural development, or the social sector is preferred.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
* Solid leadership, communication, and people management skills.
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and project management tools.
* Experience in payroll coordination, attendance management, budgeting, and reporting.
* Ability to work under pressure, solve problems proactively, and adapt to changing priorities.
* Willingness to travel across India as required for program implementation and monitoring.
