Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and motivated SAP PP Consultant with 13 years of hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning. The ideal candidate should have experience in SAP PP configuration, production planning processes, master data management, and integration with other SAP modules. The consultant will work closely with business users to analyze requirements, implement solutions, and provide production support.

Preferred candidate profile

SAP PP Configuration & Support

- Configure and maintain SAP PP functionalities including Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Versions, and Production Orders.
- Configure and support MRP, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Control, and Demand Management.
- Perform system configuration based on business requirements and best practices.
- Analyze and resolve SAP PP production issues within defined SLAs.

Business Process Management

- Understand and map end-to-end manufacturing and production planning business processes.
- Gather business requirements and prepare functional specifications.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to optimize production planning processes.
- Support process improvements and system enhancements.





Master Data Management

- Maintain and validate Production Master Data including:
- Material Master
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Routing
- Work Centers
- Production Versions
- Resource Master

Integration

- Work with cross-functional teams on integration between SAP PP and:
- SAP MM (Materials Management)
- SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
- SAP QM (Quality Management)
- SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)
- SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling)

Testing & Documentation

- Prepare Functional Specifications for custom developments.
- Execute Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Prepare configuration documents, user manuals, and training materials.
- Support data migration, cutover activities, and Go-Live.

Support & Incident Management

- Provide production support and resolve user issues.
- Analyze incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments, reports, enhancements, forms, and interfaces.
- Monitor system performance and recommend process improvements.
