Manager Procurement & Supply Chain

Lead sourcing and procurement of equipment, materials, and services for the construction and operation of the hydropower plant managing vendors, costs, and delivery timelines while ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute procurement plans aligned with project timelines and plant requirements.
Source and evaluate suppliers for turbines, generators, electrical/mechanical equipment, and civil materials.
¢ Issue RFQs/tenders, evaluate bids, and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
¢ Manage the full purchase order cycle requisition through delivery and expedite critical items.
¢ Coordinate with engineering and site teams to forecast needs and avoid procurement-related delays.




¢ Monitor vendor performance, manage contracts, and ensure compliance with policy and regulations.
¢ Track procurement budget and spend, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
¢ Supervise and mentor procurement team members.
Qualifications & Experience
¢ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
¢ 610 years in procurement/supply chain, including 23 years in a managerial role.
¢ Experience in power generation, infrastructure, or EPC projects preferred; hydropower a plus.
