We are looking for an experienced Solid Edge Design Engineer with expertise in sheet metal design and mechanical drafting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing manufacturing-ready drawings from client inputs such as PDFs, physical samples, 2D drawings, and 3D models. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate production files for laser cutting, bending, and fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using Solid Edge.
- Convert client inputs (PDFs, samples, 2D drawings, and 3D files) into production-ready CAD models.
- Design and develop sheet metal cabinets and engineered components.
- Prepare files for laser cutting, bending, and fabrication processes.
- Ensure drawings comply with manufacturing standards and production requirements.
- Coordinate with the production team to resolve design-related issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and revision control of engineering drawings.
- Learn and work on laser nesting software as required.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Solid Edge design.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in sheet metal cabinet design.
- Understanding of fabrication, bending, and laser cutting processes.
- Willingness to learn laser nesting software.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Interview Process
The interview will be conducted by the Director of the company. Candidates will be required to demonstrate their practical design skills by working on live or currently available projects.
