Role Overview

The IFS Data Migration Consultant leads end-to-end migration of master and transactional data into IFS Cloud. The role focuses on extracting, profiling, mapping, cleansing, validating, and loading data accurately while maintaining referential integrity. You will design validation rules, build repeatable load processes, and reconcile results to ensure data quality and completeness. The consultant partners with business SMEs and technical teams to plan test cycles and cutover, troubleshoot issues, and document all migration artifacts for auditability and handover.

Required Qualifications

- Hands-on experience migrating data to IFS Cloud (master and transactional data)
- Robust SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
- Experience with ETL concepts and tools (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Informatica) or SQL/Python-based pipelines
- Data mapping, data quality, and data validation expertise
- Experience preparing structured load files (CSV/Excel) and staging strategies
- Understanding of ERP data domains and referential integrity




- Experience planning and executing data reconciliation and defect resolution
- UAT/test support for migration cycles and cutover support
- Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end data migration into IFS Cloud, from scoping through go-live support
- Extract, profile, cleanse, and map source data to IFS target structures and business rules
- Design and execute validation rules to ensure data quality and referential integrity
- Prepare structured load files and execute repeatable load runs; monitor and triage load errors
- Perform reconciliation and obtain sign-offs for master and transactional data loads
- Collaborate with business SMEs, functional consultants, and technical teams during test cycles
- Plan and execute cutover activities, track defects, and drive resolution
- Maintain migration documentation, data dictionaries, mapping sheets, and run books
