Role Summary

The candidate will manage treasury operations for the corporate office and provide oversight and support across diverse business verticals (shipping, chemicals, casting, JVs), each with distinct working capital cycles, LC, working capital and capex requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Cash & Liquidity Management

- Develop and plan short-term and long-term cash needs of each business across all group along with business team

Fundraising Support

- Support debt raising for capex and working capital requirements (Non based and non fund based)

Reduction in bank / other charges for fund based and non-fund based facilities

Debt / Rating agencies Management

- Relationship management with banks, Rating agencies and financial institutions including preparation of financial model and timely response to their queries
- Prepare presentations / business update to rating agencies and banks / Financial institutions

Documentation

- Timely vetting of bank’s loan agreement –domestic and international transaction.




- Prepare a detailed internal note based on the sanction letters and other documentation in line with the comments received from Legal ad.

Compliance Report

- Ensure submission of compliance report across operating companies in the group on monthly basis.
- Submit the necessary post sanction information in timely manner and ensure security perfection and submission of other requirements to the satisfaction of the lender.
- Compliance of covenants / such other conditions should be informed immediately and corrective actions if any should be initiated.

Data, MIS and Treasury Controls

- Readiness of data, avoiding duplication, prepare treasury MIS, cash flow forecasts.
- On-time submission of the necessary information for Treasury reviews

Internal stakeholder management

- Manage the relationship with the business team, legal and other treasury support function

Qualifications

- CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA preferred; CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) is an added advantage
- 5–8 years of experience in corporate treasury, preferably within a manufacturing, or similar industries or Corporate Banking experience

Key Competencies

- Strong analytical and risk-assessment skills
- Effective negotiation skills with banks and lenders
- Ability to manage multiple business verticals with differing cash flow profiles
- High attention to compliance and regulatory detail (RBI/FEMA/SEBI as applicable)
