Roles & Responsibilities

- Design and develop automotive exterior and interior lighting components including headlamps, tail lamps, signal lamps, DRLs, and fog lamps.
- Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA, ensuring accurate GD&T; application.
- Manage packaging and integration of lighting components within the lamp assembly and vehicle interface, considering manufacturing and assembly constraints.
- Support and participate in testing and validation activities to meet performance, safety, ECE regulations, and internal quality standards.
- Coordinate with customers and suppliers to evaluate requirements, recommend technical solutions, and support cost and schedule discussions.
- Manage engineering activities in line with project timelines and development milestones.
- Identify value engineering opportunities for cost reduction and weight optimization.




- Lead and coordinate design activities as per customer requirements.
- Handle day-to-day engineering issues and participate in meetings with project managers, engineers, and customers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring support to junior engineers.
- Stay updated on advancements in automotive lighting technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.

Key Skills

Qualification & Experience

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
