Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Tester to join our
team. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise within the ServiceNow
platform, specifically focusing on ITSM implementations and the Automated Test
Framework (ATF). You will be responsible for validating configurations,
customizations, integrations, and enhancements to ensure high-quality releases with
minimal production defects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Automated Testing (ATF - Mandatory)
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using the
ServiceNow Automated Test Framework.
• Build reusable test steps and comprehensive test suites.
• Analyze failures and ensure the long-term stability of automated scripts.
2. Functional & Regression Testing
• Perform end-to-end testing of ServiceNow implementations and platform
enhancements.
• Validate ITSM,CSM, HR workflows.
• Design and execute test cases based on BRD/FRD and user stories.
• Conduct regression testing during platform upgrades and patch releases.
3. Integration Testing




• Validate inbound/outbound integrations and perform API testing
(REST/SOAP).
4. Defect Management & Collaboration
• Log, track, and manage defects using standard management tools.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Support UAT cycles and ensure all quality gates are met before deployment.

Requirements
Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of ServiceNow platform testing experience.

• Strong hands-on expertise in ATF (creation, maintenance, and execution).
• Deep knowledge of ITSM,CSM, HR processes and the ServiceNow data
model.
• Proven experience writing detailed test plans and test cases.
Good to Have:
• ServiceNow CSA Certification.
• Exposure to performance testing concepts and instance upgrade testing.
Soft Skills:
• Solid communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical test scenarios quickly.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and stakeholder interaction.
