This role is responsible for OpenShift platform troubleshooting, deployment support, production incident stabilization, escalation support, handoff documentation, and operational continuity. The consultant must be able to operate independently after onboarding, troubleshoot issues under pressure, and support service restoration during overnight incidents.

Technologies:

- Familiarity with GitOps and CI/CD tooling such as OpenShift GitOps, Argo CD, Helm, Kustomize, Tekton, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
- Experience using Ansible or automation/runbook-driven processes to support repeatable operational tasks in OpenShift or Linux environments.
- Experience with Linux/RHEL administration and troubleshooting in support of OpenShift environments.
- Familiarity with observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar platforms.
- Experience working within enterprise ticketing, escalation,



and collaboration tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Slack, Microsoft Teams, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts, including pods, deployments, services, config maps, secrets, namespaces, RBAC, persistent volumes, and networking.

Must Haves

- 4-5+ years of OpenShift experience, including the following
- Experience with environment support, ticketing, troubleshooting, escalation workflows and documenting handoffs/RCA notes
- Experience with application management and deployments
- Solid troubleshooting experience across OpenShift clusters, applications, deployments, nodes, and platform services
- Experience with end to end OpenShift deployments and problem diagnosis

- 6+ years of overall DevOps experience
- Experience using Ansible to help automate the OpenShift environment
