Role/Title: Business Analyst / SME ( LOS / LMS)

Exp: 9+ Yrs

Location: Hyderabad

Mode of work: Work from office only

Job description:

Key Responsibilities

1. LOS Expertise & Ownership

Act as the primary SME for LOS platform (e.g., underwriting, application processing, decisioning, funding).

Understand and manage end-to-end loan origination workflows.

Configure and maintain LOS rules, workflows, and parameters.

2. Business Analysis & Requirements

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

Translate business needs into functional specifications and system enhancements.

Prepare BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.

3. System Configuration & Enhancements

Support LOS configuration changes (loan products, credit policies, workflows).

Collaborate with development teams for current features and integrations.

Ensure alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements.

4. Integration & Data Flow

Work with integrated systems such as:

o Loan Management System (LMS)

o Payment gateways / ACH

o Credit bureaus

o Third-party verification systems

Validate data flow between LOS and downstream systems.

5. Testing & Validation

Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and system validation.

Create test cases and scenarios for LOS functionality.

Ensure defect tracking and resolution.

6. Production Support

Troubleshoot LOS issues and provide root cause analysis.





Support daily operations and resolve business-critical issues.

Monitor system performance and data accuracy.

7. Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with business teams, operations, IT, and vendors.

Provide training and guidance to users on LOS functionalities.

Act as a point of contact for LOS-related queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Functional Skills

Strong knowledge of Loan Origination processes:

o Application intake

o Credit decisioning

o Underwriting

o Offer generation

o Loan funding

Experience in financial services, lending, or fintech domain.

Technical Skills

Experience with LOS platforms

Understanding of APIs, data integration, and workflows.

Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and analysis.

Familiarity with JSON/XML data structures.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance (KYC, AML, lending regulations).

Experience with reporting tools and dashboards.

Experience

7+ years in Loan Origination Systems / Lending domain.

Prior experience as SME / Business Analyst / Product Owner is a plus.

Nice to Have (Based on your domain)

Experience with systems like Turnkey, Firstsource, Skeps, Equiant.

Knowledge of ACH processing, payment lifecycle, and reconciliation.

Exposure to collections and servicing workflows.
