What you can look forward to Specialist - Electronic Component Engineer:
- We are looking for an Electronic Component Engineer to manage and support the selection, qualification, and lifecycle of electronic components used in our Automotive products.
- Select, evaluate, and approve electronic components (active and passive) to meet design, performance, and reliability requirements
- Define and support component qualification, testing, and validation activities
- Manage component lifecycle risks, including obsolescence, second sourcing, and supply continuity
- Support design teams with technical guidance, alternatives, and best-practice component usage
- Work with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve technical issues and improve component performance
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Maintain component data, documentation, and standards within internal systems
- Work with Siemens EDM tools (or equivalent systems)
to manage electronic component data, approvals, and lifecycle management
Your profile as Specialist - Electronic Component Engineer:
- Bachelors degree in electrical/electronic engineering with minimun5+ years exp .strong knowledge of electronic components (active and passive)
- Experience with component selection, qualification, and lifecycle management
- Knowledge of electronic suppliers and supply chain
- Familiarity with Siemens EDM or similar component management tools
- Understanding of REACH and RoHS regulations.
- Understanding of quality, reliability, and compliance requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Solid logical approach to problem solving
- Encourages feedback from mentors and learns from it
- Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility
