Role & responsibilities

- Prepare the endoscopy suite and equipment before procedures.
- Assist gastroenterologists during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopes and accessories as per established guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain endoscopy equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide pre- and post-procedure assistance.
- Maintain accurate documentation and procedure records.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with nursing, biomedical, and housekeeping teams for smooth unit operations.
- Manage inventory of endoscopy consumables and report equipment issues promptly.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma/Degree in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT), Endoscopy Technology, or a related allied health discipline.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in an Endoscopy Unit or Gastroenterology Department.
- Knowledge of endoscope reprocessing, sterilization, and infection control practices.
- Valuable communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
