Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Procurement Engineer with construction industry to manage procurement activities from our Bangalore Head Office. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, vendor management cost control, and ensuring timely availability of materials/equipment as per project requirements.

Role & responsibilities

Handle end-to-end procurement process for construction projects.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors/suppliers for materials, equipment, and services.
Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and agreements in compliance with company policies.
Monitor material requisitions from project sites and ensure timely delivery.
Develop and maintain vendor database with strong supplier relationships.
Coordinate with project, engineering, and finance teams to ensure smooth procurement operations.
Evaluate vendor performance based on quality,



delivery timelines, and cost effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company procurement standards.
Track market trends, price fluctuations, and introduce cost-saving measures.
Prepare regular procurement reports and MIS for management review.

Preferred candidate profile

Solid knowledge of construction materials, machinery, and equipment.
Expertise in procurement processes, vendor development, and negotiations.
Good understanding of contracts, terms, and purchase agreements.
Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/SAP systems (preferred).
Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle multiple procurement requirements simultaneously.
