We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow CMDB & Core6 AvailabilityGuard Administrator with 5 10 years of relevant experience in Configuration Management, Discovery, and Service Mapping. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining ServiceNow CMDB and Core6 AvailabilityGuard, ensuring accurate configuration data, infrastructure visibility, proactive monitoring, and enterprise configuration governance.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain the Core6 AvailabilityGuard platform.
- Configure and manage AvailabilityGuard collectors for accurate infrastructure monitoring.
- Monitor platform performance and ensure continuous availability monitoring.
- Troubleshoot AvailabilityGuard issues across Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Manage AvailabilityGuard-generated alerts and incident tickets.
- Triage, assign, and coordinate incidents with server, network, storage, and infrastructure teams.
- Improve alert quality and reduce false positives through continuous optimization.
- Administer and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, including CI classes, relationships, and data models.
- Ensure CMDB aligns with enterprise configuration management standards and governance.
- Maintain accurate Configuration Item (CI) records and lifecycle management.
- Monitor CMDB Health metrics including completeness, correctness, and compliance.
- Identify and resolve duplicate records, orphaned CIs, missing relationships, and other data quality issues.
- Configure and manage ServiceNow Discovery for automated CI population.




- Troubleshoot discovery failures, credential issues, scan coverage, and relationship mapping.
- Optimize Discovery schedules and patterns for improved performance and coverage.
- Develop dashboards and reports for CMDB health, discovery performance, and compliance.

Required Skills
- 5 10 years of experience in ServiceNow CMDB Administration.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.
- Experience administering Core6 AvailabilityGuard.
- Strong understanding of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) concepts and governance.
- Experience monitoring CMDB Health metrics and improving data quality.
- Knowledge of Configuration Item (CI) lifecycle management.
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Solid troubleshooting skills for Discovery, integrations, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Experience with incident management and operational support.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations and automation.
- Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure including servers, storage, and networking.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise IT environments.
